Bounty Hunter Guide

Bounty Hunter Guide

The Bounty Hunter has been the back bone for the Sith Empire since the start of time. While bounty hunters are seen throughout the entire galaxy, they are seen more in the outer rim hunting targets trying to be elusive.

There are 2 things a Bounty Hunter truly cares about: top of the line gear/gadgets and credits. Having top of the line gear and gadgets allows him to enter into combat and be able to take down any foe no matter who he is facing up against.

A true bounty hunter loves and understands that the only thing you can trust in this galaxy is credits. They are insane mercenaries for hire and no one better get in the way of a bounty hunter and his pay-day.

Class Role

Bounty Hunters make excessive use of technology. This technology includes blasters, flamethrowers and rockets. Bounty Hunters are able to Tank (Powertech), deal Damage (Powertech or Mercenary) and Heal (Mercenary). With the ability to Tank, DPS and Heal, they are able to fulfill any role in SWTOR.

Bounty Hunter’s defensive and cutting-edge protective gear is standard equipment. They wear Heavy armor in both advanced classes to ensure that it offers superior resistance to all manner of weaponry, and each suit will still allow maximum flexibility and versatility. The primary attribute/stat that bounty hunters want on their gear is Aim.

Abilities and Combat

Bounty Hunter Powertech

Powertech uses a flamethrower and can specialize into two talent trees: Shield Tech and Advanced Prototype.

Shield Tech is the tanking specialization. It focuses on giving the Powertech access to more mitigation and threat-generating abilities.

Advanced Prototype is a damage-dealing specialization. This advanced class specialization also excels at AoE (area of effect) damage.

Bounty Hunter Mercenary

The Mercenary uses dual blasters, allowing it to play the role of a ranged damaging or healing character.
The Arsenal specialization focuses on maximizing the Bounty Hunter’s missile and rocket damage, allowing it to become a true ranged damage-dealing class. This advanced class specialization is based on burst damage.

The Bodyguard specialization contains buffs and heals that allow the Bounty Hunter to be a healing and support class. These Bounty Hunter talents can create a very powerful PvP (player versus player) or solo-oriented class, that is capable of doing both self-healing and damage dealing.

The D5-Mantis is an alpha predator in the cold depths of space. It was designed to meet the hefty demands of a much larger interdiction vessel. The Mantis is built to fight, and employs three retractable weapon foils with independent power supplies. The engineers of the Mantis make efficient use of vertical space and minimized bulkheads which provides more open areas and ensures ease of access for maintenance.
